J.R. Rosania, CSCS, Co-Founder
One of the nation's top performance enhancement coaches, James "J.R." Rosania, BS, Exercise Science, CSCS, brings more than 23 years of fitness training experience to Ironbody Lifestyle Fitness, LLC. His proficiency in training Olympic, professional, and elite athletes has led him to be named one of AMERICA'S TOP TRAINERS by Men's Journal and Vogue magazines. J.R. serves as the Strength and Conditioning Consultant to the Yale, Notre Dame and Stanford University swim teams. He is also a contributing editor and Swim Strength Development Expert for Swimming World Magazine. Previous positions include full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Phoenix Suns of the NBA. J.R.'s expertise incorporates his proprietary blend of resistance exercises and conditioning activities to rapidly improve the body's ability to perform at peak levels at any age.
An accomplished athlete himself, JR has competed in more than 130 triathlons, including 18 Ironman Triathlons. He earned the distinction of being named an Ironman Triathlon All-American after winning his race division at Ironman USA. J.R. also personally trained former NFL player and Army Ranger Pat Tillman for his first triathlon, and had agreed to train and race with Pat in the Hawaii Ironman. In October 2004, J.R. completed the Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon World Championship to honor his promise to Pat, as well as raise funds for the Pat Tillman Foundation.
J.R. resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and two children. J.R.'s favorite endurance events include "actively watching" his children's athletic events; participating in his Saturday morning group cycling training rides; and competing in Ironman, half-Ironman, and Olympic-distance triathlons. J.R. is an involved member of his church and community, leading missions each year to build homes for families in need.

Robert Vera, Co-Founder
Robert Vera Co-founded Ironbody Lifestyle Fitness™, LLC, in 2006. Robert’s professional background includes over fifteen years of financial services expertise, most recently as Vice President of Business Financial Services at Merrill Lynch. Robert earned his Bachelor's degree from Boston College where he played collegiate football.
Robert's passion is to stretch his limits by engaging in ever escalating athletic pursuits, from countless competitions in endurance road cycling and mountain biking, to the grueling 140.6-mile Ironman triathlon and beyond. Robert applied his keen financial expertise to solve what many dieters describe as the "Weight Loss Guessing Game" by creating the revolutionary personal "fitness math" at the heart of the Iron90 System. He designed this formula to offer individuals a guaranteed, scientific approach for establishing permanent weight loss and lifelong fitness.
Robert is the lead trainer for 2010 Camp Patriot Summit Challenge Team. His favorite endurance events include the Grand Canyon rim to rim to rim hike and the Ironman triathlon. Robert is actively involved in his church, North Phoenix community and serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Robert resides in Phoenix, Arizona, with his wife and two children.
